Motorcycle Passenger Injured when its Driver Failed to Pay Attention to the Road and a Deer Collided with the Motorcycle
Our client was riding as a passenger on a motorcycle on State Highway 55 in Edward County, Texas when a deer ran across the road. Unfortunately, our client was injured in the collision with the deer because the driver of the motorcycle did not react quickly enough and took faulty evasion action. The collision threw our client off the motorcycle and caused her severe injuries.
In this case, the driver of a motorcycle in front of our client was wearing a Go-Pro and had recorded the moments before the collision. This evidence showed that the driver of the motorcycle would have easily seen the deer if he had been paying proper attention and could have avoided it, preventing the severe injuries that our client suffered.
