Zinda Law Group wants to reward the efforts of diligent students by offering them the opportunity to apply for the “Make a Difference” Scholarship. This scholarship promises $2,500 in financial support to an incoming or current college student who’s determined to use their education for the betterment of others.
Zinda Law Group specifically makes this scholarship available to law students determined to have a positive impact on their academic and social communities. Students interested in applying for this scholarship can take up to 1,000 words to answer the following questions:
- What degree are you pursuing and why?
- What are you planning to do differently as a law graduate?
- What does your ideal academic journey look like?
Students have until December 15, 2023, to submit their scholarship essays and other relevant materials to Zinda Law Firm. The firm will not accept applications submitted after this deadline or without their relevant materials. Eligibility Requirements
Undergraduate and graduate students interested in pursuing a legal education can apply for the “Make a Difference” scholarship. To begin the application process, students should first ensure they meet the application’s eligibility requirements.
To qualify for this scholarship, students must:
- You have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
- You are enrolled in or accepted at an accredited college, university, or graduate school in the United States
- You must express an interest in a legal career or education
- You agree to the scholarship terms and conditions
- Submit the necessary application materials
Application Process
Students preparing to submit their “Make a Difference” materials must:
- Fill out the application form on this page
- Upload a copy of your unofficial transcript
- Upload a copy of your scholarship essay
- Submit proof of enrollment/acceptance to an accredited college/ university/ graduate school (Student ID; Letter of acceptance; etc.)

Scholarship Deadline
Students have until December 15, 2023, to complete their scholarship essays and submit all relevant scholarship materials to Zinda Law Firm. Students can complete the application process through Zinda Law Firm’s website.
Neither Zinda Law Firm nor its scholarship selection committee will consider applications submitted without their relevant materials or after the scholarship deadline passes.
Zinda Law Firm cannot answer questions about the “Make a Difference” scholarship submitted via email or asked over the phone. Families or applicants with questions about the scholarship and its relevant materials may refer to this and other scholarship-relevant pages for more information about the submission process.
Terms and Conditions
All applicants to this scholarship must meet the eligibility requirements as laid out on the scholarship application page, including:
- Applicant must be enrolled at a college, university, or graduate school
- Applicant must be at least 18 years old at the age of enrollment
- Applicant must have residency in the United States
- Applicant must be in good academic standing
- Applicant must submit some personal information, including name, contact information, and proof of enrollment.
- Applicant must author an original essay on the scholarship essay topic provided.
Anyone who meets the following conditions is NOT eligible to apply:
- Employees or children of employees of Zinda Law Group
- Past recipients of the “Make a Difference” Scholarship
- Applicants who are unable/unwilling to be interviewed by a representative of Zinda Law Group if they were to be awarded a scholarship.
- Applicants who submit the same essay for multiple scholarships
Selection & Award Notification Process
Students who want to have their scholarship essay and other relevant materials considered by Zinda Law Group’s scholarship selection committee must submit a completed application by the December 15, 2023, deadline. The law firm will not consider applications submitted after this deadline or applications missing essential information.
Once the scholarship’s submission period closes, Zinda Law Firm will select a scholarship selection committee to consider students’ applications. Depending on the number of scholarships the firm receives, the time period between the scholarship’s closing date and the selection of a winner may vary between one and three months.
Age, race, religion, gender, national origin, familial status, or other protected classes will have no influence on the committee’s decision.
Students and their families can keep an eye on Zinda Law Firm’s website for an announcement post declaring a scholarship winner. The firm will also release a press release with the winner’s name and qualifications.
Zinda Law Firm will only send an announcement email to the student who the scholarship selection committee chooses to win the “Make a Difference” scholarship. The firm cannot, at any point, answer questions about the progress a student’s scholarship application has made through the selection process.
Upon announcing a winner, Zinda Law Firm will work with the winning student, their parents, and their institution of choice to ensure that the scholarship funds make it to the student’s institution of choice before the beginning of the upcoming semester.
