Signs of Leaking Gas

One sign of leaking gas leak or a pending explosion is that familiar rotten egg smell that gas emits. • Do not operate machinery or vehicles near the area of the leak
• Leave the area and from a safe distance call the utility company to report the leak
• If the odor is strong, call 911
• If you are digging, stop and call the utility company or 911
